Around the world politicians have abdicated their responsibility to run their country in the best interests of their citizens. They have generally become a group that cannot be trusted. Their masters are no longer the citizens of a country.

This has lead to politicians who make decisions that benefit a very small percentage of their citizens 'the 1%' to the detriment of their citizens as a whole. ThoughtYurt will give citizens the power stop this bad behaviour and regain control over their politicians and thus their country.

ThoughtYurt is software that all citizens or people living in a country can join. Citizens add and verify each other's identity to gain entrance. ThoughtYurt has forums and topics for discussion with polls that citizens create and vote upon. The results of these polls tell politicians and business leaders what the citizens have decided for each issue or topic and they are to abide by those decisions.

For politicians that fail to do as citizens want ThoughtYurt can be used by citizens to effect the outcome of any election, choosing only politicians who listen and behave.

ThoughtYurt software will be run and managed by the creation group so that it cannot ever be hijacked by politicians or political parties.

Citizens of each Country will have their own ThoughtYurt determined by the permissions of their login. They can read anything in any Country but cannot comment, vote or start topics except in their own Country. The group will host and keep ThoughtYurt safe, unbiased and non-partisan for them. It can be accessed thru all devices including hand-held or mobile.

The Occupy movement is our children crying for help because they see no future for themselves or their children. They are very scared. They see our entire planet as one big mess that is getting worse quickly. They see thousands of problems from how we treat our atmosphere, to how we run our civilizations, to how we use our oceans. Of particular concern is the 1% controlling politicians to run the world for their benefit while systematically reducing the benefits for the 99%. Our children figure ‘we have stolen their future’ because we let it get this way. Our children want us to help them fix it, so they have a future. Solutions require politicians changing policy and law. To our children, politicians are moving too slow or in the wrong direction at the bidding of their 1% masters. They need our help to break the 1% hold on our politicians and get things fixed. Our children need us to band together so we can help.

By breaking the 1% control over our politicians we can help our children have a future and have a better Canada for ourselves. Collectively thru our questions, discussions, solutions and polls, we will guide our politicians and business leaders to do what we want done. We will see who is complying and who needs a push. When enough of us band together, we can influence all politicians and business leaders. We can effect the outcome of any election. We just have to band together, we talk nicely but we always carry a big stick. PRIVACY: You can remain unknown and just read and vote on issues.
